👍👍 This is a great lake! We've been coming here for years! Somethings have changed. You buy your park permit at the kiosk by the main park building. You purchase your fishing permit online. Definitely worth checking out!

👍👍 Park is beautiful and well maintained. Zoo is a cool little surprise for the location. Animals seem well taken care of. Definitely surprised to see bears! Peacocks were strutting their stuff and the parrots were chatty:) Good little place to stop and hang out for a while.

👍 Great diverse hiking trails. Some can be challenging, I suggest downloading map from KDPW, take adequate water, hiking sticks and trail shoes.

👍👍 A wonderful place to take the kids on a hot day, the splash pad is perfect for them and there is plenty of shade for the fair skinned people. They also play movies for the family at night during the summer.
