👍👍 Excellent trail to traverse Boulder from Chautauqua (North) to South Boulder and Table Mesa. Excellent views from directly underneath the flat irons. I'd say the trail is moderate, mixing uphill and downhill segments along the way.

Fourmile Canyon Creek Trailhead

👍👍 The real Trailhead secret is Foothills trail just up ahead. It has all the same views but is a lot less frequented and it has a view of the north side of Colorado from the rockies something I'd never considered to look at. The mesas and plateaus were awesome and so serene.
