College 'M'
Tourist attraction
👍 Note that while the hike up is only 0.5 miles, it is a pretty steep climb, so it feels much longer. There's an easier 1.5 mile loop that we took down. We did it with 4 kids, including a 4 year old, so it was a nice sense of accomplishment, but was certainly harder than we had expected. But the views...

Sourdough/Bozeman Creek Trailhead
Hiking area
👍👍 Great spot to get outside! Easy grade, Old road bed. Along the creek is nice. We rode ravel bikes up to the Mystic Lake cabin, 10 miles back, 1,600 feet elevation gain. There are a few other trails off shooting from this main trail. Those are definitely more hiking or mountain biking trails.

👍👍 Gallagator Trail in Bozeman is part of an old rail line. It begins at the old train depot, which has been preserved and turned into the public library. The trail goes for about 1.5 miles. Glen Lake Rotary Park
Park
👍👍 A family favorite! There is a good sized pond and it is pretty warm. We float in it, some people kayak, others float on their boards. It can get pretty packed though when it is hot and on the weekends. Basically, all summer it is packed. If you don't mind the crowd though, and everyone shares, there...

👍 Good access site that's more than just fishing access. Yep, there's fishing, but there's also an interpretive trail, bike trails, and loads of wildlife viewing (we were there for a 20 minute hike and saw many songbirds, pelicans, ducks, turtles, and a few folks swimming in the river). It's been a gr...
