👍👍 A must see for those who love unique places to visit for some great photography. There are two buildings on the property, one is not fenced and you can get up close to it, but the main building has a fence around it. I've heard they'll be demoing it soon, so try to get here sooner rather than later....

👍👍 This is a great nature center with friendly staff & the Towpath nearby. Parking lot is large, restrooms are clean & the outdoor garden is very cool.

👍👍 The house like many from its time period serves as a reminder and academic center for learning about slavery in the US and the struggles that many famlies, and communities, went through fighting to overthrow it. The people here are dedicated to preserving the past knowledge of that time period.
