Best places: Things to dos in Calhoun County, United States

👍👍 I absolutely love this place, I normally bring my kids here to play with them or while I sit down and read a book. I can easily spend an entire day here.

👍👍 The staff was super nice. Unfortunately we didn't have time to do a guided tour, it was a rainy monday and so most of the buildings were closed. We walked the site and will plan to return some day when they have a black smith and others in the buildings.

👍👍 This is a very nice park. It's large and is connected to the greenway trail which is about 4 miles long, paved and is great for biking or hiking.

👍 Visiting wetlands when they aren't wet is kind of a downer, but it was beautifully deserted and wild. We didn't have time to walk any of the trails, but if you like to be alone in nature, this is your spot.

👍 Erected by the state of Texas back in 1936, the monument to Rene Robert Cavallier encloses losts of historic facts about US History. The place is very well located and includes information but it should be better kept and maintained periodically. It certainly looks more like and abandoned mark.

😠 Wouldn't waste my time ever again going there took my special needs child there and got ran off by somebody I don't even know if it was the owner he was rude and disrespectful and drunk too at the same time so I if I was y'all I would never go there again. Signed Paul Burgess
