👍👍 Lots of options for paved walking or dirt trails. We like to bring our dog and meet other dogs and their families there. The best is if it’s a clear day and you can get a view from both sides (Castro Valley and Lake Chabot to one side and the bay/East Bay/Peninsula/SF to the other).

Nike Trail | Lake Chabot

👍 When the Classroom is not in use, there is free parking with access to a Lake Chabot Regional Park trailhead for hiking and biking. There's also a drinking water fountain, chemical toilets, and several picnic tables with a barbecue. It's a great place to start (or finish) a hike.
