👍👍 Beautiful trail. Bring bug spray. There’s a portion of the trail where you walk near a lake, which is stunning. However we had to hurriedly keep moving so we didn’t get (as) bit by mosquitoes. Otherwise the end views are well worth the climb! This was also one of the less busy trails in Mt Rainier,...

👍👍 First time here, had a great walk with our pooch. Definitely recommend this walk for nice day. There is a great blacktop trail where you could easily get in a four mile walk. There is a pretty hood elevation gain if a semi easy climb is what you like. Lots of open space for the whole family.

👍👍 Wow, what a great loop trail. We saw so much! A ton of newts, mushrooms, birds, evidence of beavers, geese, and more. The flowers were starting to bloom, we found trillium. There was a really neat Grove of old trees that had been forested and so there were giant giant stumps and the kids had so much...

👍👍 Great hike with some moderately steep climbs. The loop is 4 miles but if you are up for it, an additional 2 miles round trip will bring you to a lookout point with views of Lake Cushman and territory.

👍👍 A very pleasant place to hike. Make it as short or as long as you want. . 5 to probably 8 miles pretty easily. Some easy paths, some more treacherous if you want. Not a swimming beach, but very peaceful walk (hiking shoes highly recommended if you do)
