πŸ‘πŸ‘ Our oldest son had one of the most amazing days of his life, he always likes to go to the zoo, but he usually struggles as he wants to touch the animals, our little one was also very excited and he is only 6 months old. This was a perfect place for our kids, we spend 2 hours driving through (most v...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ What a great spot to land on along road trip! We slept so good. One of our favorite pizza stops is just up the road, Giovanni's. The cabin has everything you could need. It's clean as a pin, and set up so thoughtful for comfort. When we unload we stretched our legs, and got to visit with a prec...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Nice park, pretty quiet except for Friday and Saturday nights, because of parties in the event center. But the band tonight is excellent, great fiddle player, and it's not too loud over there. Owners are friendly and helpful, park is clean, I came to Gatesville on business in a 32 ft. Class A. I...

🫀 The gym closes at 6 pm. The Army releases us at 5 pm. These new hours effectively make to where soldiers cannot use this gym. I gave it 2 stars because it was actually a fine gym prior to their hours changing, which is hopefully temporary.

Gym
😠 Hey I got an idea- let’s have 10 gyms on this post and only open half. Out of those half, let’s keep them closed during the duty day and completely screw over shift workers and dependents that are only able to work out during the duty day. So now Soldiers and families are forced to pay out of pocket...

😐 Great gym. But gym hours suck right now. Only open for 4 hours in the morning, and 3 hours in the afternoon. Water fountains are closed and it can get suffocatingly humid in the gym. Seriously it needs a a de humidifier placed throughout running throughout the entire day.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Very well tucked in completely camouflaged if you don't know to look for it. The 3rd Saturday of every month the observatory is open to the public. This is a family friendly atmosphere. It can get crowded and you may have to wait to look through the telescope. Meanwhile members of the Central Texas...

😐 I took my older brother, who was visiting me in North Texas, out to visit our Aunt's gravesite in the old St. Paul's Cemetery behind the Church. Aunt Carrie was raised in The Grove by her parents, Alvin & Emily Urbantke in the 1930's-1950's (?). We then browsed around where the old Urbantke homestea...
