Desoto Falls Picnic Area-DeSoto State Park
State park
ππ Depending on the water flow itβs somewhere between beautiful and stunning. Certainly worth the time and drive over if you are staying at DeSoto State Park or generally just in the area. Iβd be nervous here with a small child, but that would be the only possible negative on the site.

Tigers For Tomorrow Wild Animal Preserve, Inc.
Tourist attraction
ππ We had the absolute BEST day here! What a treat and especially to run into the founder, Sue, while she and staff cared for the animals. She answered all of our questions and gave us so so much information on top of that. She was great with us even though it was clear she was busy. The animals were...

ππ Wine slushees were good. They have a purple one and a white one currently. Canβt remember the flavors.
The real hero is the pizza. This pizza is awesome. Itβs better than 800 degree, itβs bigger and crunchier. You just have to believe me and try it. The pizza was like $11. They have a bunch of diff...

Brow Park
Park
ππ The photos don't do it justice. Brow Park is on top of the ridge of the mountain and there is a nice walkway to the end of the ridge. At the end you can see 2 valleys come together. So beautiful.

ππ Gorgeous historical spot and cool (still functional) covered bridge
Love to snap pics here, but fall is ideal with all of the colorful foliage in October. Lookout spot on far wooded side of bridge.
There is also a picnic area here and port a potty when the weather is warm. Get out and stretch your l...

Byler Lane Winery
Winery
π We didn't even know about this place. Looked fairly new. They have wine & beer. Didn't try any of the beer. Did a flight of wine, you get 6 tastes for$5.95. They seem to have had more dry wines, which I'm not a fan of, but if you do, you may like the place. Very pretty & big. I did like the wine cal...

Wolf Creek Overlook
Scenic spot
ππ This area was astonishing. You could feel the strength of the water in the air. When we visited the current was moving quickly and it was noisy in an exilerating way. Loud and peaceful somehow at the same time. Roads leading up to this area were twisty and scenic.

Little River Canyon Center
Hiking area
ππ It takes a little detour to get here, but it's completely worth it. Start at the visitors center to get some info about the area, then head to the waterfall for some great views. Take a drive along the canyon rim to do some hiking or take in some scenic views. My favorite spot was Eberhart Point. Gl...
