Stampede Trail (Christopher McCandless magic Bus original location)
Hiking area
๐๐ Don't go in late May! Trail conditions are not good. Snow melt makes it a 20 mile hike in a swamp. Still an incredible experience to walk in the footsteps of Chris and visit the magic bus. Highly recommended, but the river was nearly impossible to cross.

The cheap beer tasting ketchup and microwaved mashed potatoes that they store in a cottage cheese container was a nice touch. Make sure you have plenty of time, as well as they only have one fryer, so...

๐๐ The pizza was amazing! They were sold out of a lot of items given we were approaching the end of the season, but we still ate a delicious meal.
