👍👍 Wonderful for snow shoeing! We went to the warming hut and had a wonderful view of Broken Top. At the trail split we went right. Then we made the loop on the way back. Two hours there, one to get back. Lots of breaks for pictures added to our time.

👍 This was a nice little "you can do the big loop or the small loop" area that was tough to get lost in and, if you're into getting lost, it connects to Tumalo State Park via a path of indeterminate length at the zenith of the big loop, so there you go! I walked the big loop on a 93 degree day and it...

👍👍 This place is pretty dang amazing. In the winter time, it's got a great set of trails good for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and even snowmobiling. Bachelor grooms the main paths for the skiing (you might need a pass for that though). The most wonderful thing about this area is the view. You'r...

👍👍 Great trails! Mostly easy (green) hard packed sand with one or two blue trails due to more technical features. The outer loop is a little over 12 miles with about 600 ft of elevation gain. Mostly ridden in late fall or winter being desert terrain. Great sunset ride / hike / run due to few trees and...

👍 Quiet, secluded. To find spots like these nowadays in Central Oregon, is gold. It's not much. Just the peaceful D coursing though beautiful high desert riparia. Large parking area with a pit toilet and picnic tables. Maybe, that is enough? Before you reach the actual preserve, (coming from the east)...

👍👍 Aspen is the put in for the Big Eddy rafting tour. The commercial outfitters that operate are professional and do there best to accommodate the public. They are launching 6 rafts every 20 min all summer so be prepared to see people. Lots of people!
