👍👍 The hike whooped my butt, however, it was so worth it. We started at 2 AM to summit V2, and then hit Island and Ice lakes on our way down. This is definitely a hard hike. Don't underestimate it. So many people were walking up at noon with nothing but a water bottle in hand.

👍👍 My absolute favorite spot in all of Colorado! The lake itself is wonderful for fishing, boating and paddle boarding. The sorrounding hiking trail, specifically the Hope Lake trail is one of the most beautiful hikes in the world leading up to the ice lake. Even in the Summer on its busiest days, it...

👍👍 Parking. Lots of shoreline access. Great for kayaking and paddle boarding. Dogs allowed. Swimming allowed but COLD!! It can get very windy here. And evil fisherman leave their lines and hooks behind... Kept pretty clean, I didn't see any trash, but I did almost step on a hook! 😠

👍👍 The hike to the lake took us about 2 hours, all uphill. The trail was well marked, and we were able to get around pretty easily even with wet ground and patches of snow. After the lake, we did some rock scrambling up to the waterfall, which was well worth the trip. Though, watch out for rocks disgui...

👍👍 This was the first time we have been to this lake and we loved it. It was a weekend so it was busy but people were friendly and respectful. My husband caught a lot of fish and it was a nice lake to walk around.

👍👍 This campsite is amazing. It is primitive only. Wonderful views and high altitude. We stayed here for a night in June and it got cold but was beautiful. I defiantly recommend camping here or visiting of the day. Most vehicles should make it up, but you can park on the side and walk if if needed.

👍👍 One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been in. It’s a tough hike to get to the lake but it worth it. If you’re not planning to camp up there then I would recommend you to start early in the morning, it took a total of 6 hours for us to go up and come back down (for sure we took rest and picture...

👍👍 If a man named Ashley tells you this is his private swimming hole, he is wrong. Little known fact, this pond was originally formed by a meteor impact over a thousand years ago! The crater did not hold water due to a natural cave system, but the Boy's School used the site as a burial ground for thei...
