👍 Love, love, love this place to start and end a hike. Since Covid, the nature center itself has been closed. So, I don't know what the inside is like. Great to have a restroom and a spicket to wash mud and dirt off after a hike. One of my favorite local spots!

😠 They closed all the parking lots except for one which has only twelve parking spots open to the public. The parking lots are claimed as private property. Peoplethat actually live on island have to wait more than two hours for a parking spot

😠 “Light show” was mediocre at best. Same 3 lights over and over. 35$ a person even for children. Charged 9$ for parking and refused to give receipt. Cash only. Cranky old Karen at the front gate really set the mood. Overall paying 115$ for a family of 3 was a waste of money. Plus my kid cut his mouth...
