The park is in the beginning of the transition between piedmont or foothills and the coastal plain (the official transition is in neighbouring Great Falls Park), so it had lots of exposed rock which is really neat to look...

👍👍 Great place to catch sunset, or park here to go on hikes around the waters edge. They even have a "sometimes" open bathroom facility. I've been coming down here since I was a teenager to get grounded and commune with nature and the water.

👍👍 Located close to the Great Falls. This is a unique waterfall with mesmerizing views. If you like the outdoors, you're going to like it here. Hiking trails abound within within proximity of the water fall.
