👍👍 Very interesting place. Lots of history- Beautiful large music boxes and instruments many people do not know about. Plenty of old pieces that they play for you. Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. I recommend this and call prior to get a tour. The basement and second floor are at your own pace.

👍👍 Took my son to get some candy & "weird flavored" sodas. Only saw the railroad museum briefly & it looked pretty neat. We definitely plan on visiting the museum, sometime in the near future. Customer service was great in the candy store part, I'm assuming it would be the same at the museum.

👍👍 We were there tonight for the dedication ceremony for Capt. Thomas Mantell Day. Afterward, my husband and I walked through and looked at the exhibits. He remarked how it felt alive. So often, historical societies feel like places where facts go to die. But their exhibits are well presented and displ...

👍👍 I had a great experience at this museum. Locally run institutions like this should be supported. Susan gave me a tour of the place and answered a series of questions I had about Italian miners (I asked a lot). She even recommend locations outside of the museum that I could check out. If I ever find...

👍👍 I loved it! It was off the beaten path and even last minute we were welcomed. We learned so many new cool things. I don't want to ruin the tour but we found out that news use to be written on the back of wall paper! The children's room was my favorite room .
