👍👍 I have spent a lot of time up here exploring for petrified wood. It is absolutely beautiful and serene up here with a beautiful view of the Columbia. I highly recommend stopping at the little Spanish restaurant in Mattawa, La Perla Tapatia I think? It is amazing!!

👍👍 Excellent trail with informative interpretive signs about ecology and salmon. The trail is well kept with healthy vegetation and good views of May Creek. There is a stone parking lot across the street that can fit about 20 cars. There is great access to Lake Washington Trail. No facilities.
