πŸ‘πŸ‘ I parked at the haviland west trail parking. It was gravel and had plenty of parking. It was free and just a minute walk to the Walkway over the Hudson entrance (with restrooms). If you're coming from Poughkeepsie keep in mind that there's a 1.50 toll to return via the mid Hudson bridge.

🫀 The actual park here is in sad disrepair. A lot of it is broken and unsafe. The baseball fields and soccer field is well kept but everything else is just left alone. The bathrooms were disgusting and smelled horrible. The rec center is also outdated and seems like it hasn't been maintained beyond ba...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ This is a really nice splash pad. There is ample shade spread out, grassy areas are big, and the splash pad keeps kids busy. The stream is wide and just deep enough in some spots to lay down but not be totally submerged. And there are lots of rocks to climb on. The area is fenced off too, so it's ea...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ One of must see places in Poughkeepsie. Once every o...
