👍👍 It wasn't open when I visited a few weeks ago but the grounds and walkways at the river were nice. The CSS Albemarle Ironclad gunboat and the 2004 built replica Roanoke River Lighthouse based off the plans of the original from 1866 were both very cool to look at! Great photo opportunites!

👍👍 Very interesting place to visit. There are several planes outside and inside there are pieces of military gear to get up close and touch such as ejection seats, machine guns, and radar equipment.
