👍👍 Stopped in this morning on the way into Yuma. Very nice place. Great coffee. Friendly folks. Felt like family. They were sweet to my dog Matilda. I feel like I’ve discovered a special place. And they have outdoor seating.

👍👍 This really is the base used for a Naval weapons platform when this area was actively used for Naval Weapons Training. Slab was poured back in February 1971. Great place to take in the local desert views. A off road vehicle or vehicle with good ground clearance is neeeded to access this location.

👍👍 Major archaeological discovery in the heart of Bombay Beach, which finds the denizens of a previous civilization frozen in time encased in salt. Amazing to visit the active dig site and peer into the past.
