👍👍 Had no idea this place existed, great museum. Huge grounds for walking as well.

3-acre park & open-air museum detailing the state's early political history via interpretive signs.

Prominent Civil War battlefield with walking trails, historic buildings & a visitor center.

🫤 The outside of the bridge is neat to see. From the main road you can get a nice picture of the whole bridge. The entire inside has been destroyed by graffiti and not worth walking through it.

👍 Great view! It would be great for a picnic. The four panels depicting Bone’s life are interesting. In no particular order: - Dan kills some Indians - Nancy milks a cow - Dan sits on a log - Dan talks to some kid Not sure why 3/4 of those made it to the monument.

👍 Nice combination of viewing art while exploring an interesting old home. We were not overly impressed by the current photography exhibit but it was nicely presented , staff are very nice, and the house is fun to see. Be sure to go up in the tower.

Colonial Revival estate built in 1900, with a Gothic Revival music room, self-guided tours & events.

Guided tours are offered of this grand beaux arts–style residence completed in 1914.

👍👍 The cemetery is currently opened from 7:30 am to dark. There is a couple of Kentucky governors buried in the cemetery. Stop and see Daniel Boone and wife, Rebecca Boone's burial site.
