Hurricane Mountain Fire Tower
Scenic spot
πŸ‘πŸ‘ Perhaps the best view of the mountains I’ve ever had. Hurricane Mountain is not one of the high peaks but at its summit you have a great panoramic view of the high peaks and Lake Champlain. We started at the trailhead by Rt. 9 and the hike was generally moderate.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Wow.. just wow... the trail from the 9N trailhead up was just amazing, and you’re being motivated to keep moving as you move up to see what else is in store up ahead! From creeks, pond, open grassy land to creek falls, rocky boulders with breathtaking views. The trail was pretty tough with constant...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great climb. To get to the Cascade falls slide enter through the Cascade Lake parking lot. Continue on the trail staring directly by the beach of the lake. Continue up the trail until you can see a small visible heard path following the left side of the falls. You will shortly pop out on the slide w...

Jay Mountain Trailhead

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Possibly one of my favorite hikes in the Adirondacks. Not too difficult a trail but it's long. Only a few small scrambles on the Ridgeline. When you break the tree line it's an incredible Ridgeline hike with 360 views. If you're in shape this hike is very doable. I'd recommend it for kids as well....
