Ketchikan Hiking Trails

ππ We were in Ketchikan for 9hrs (cruise ship). This trail was fabulous, well marked, uphill, we only went to the first viewpoint due to time constraints. We also took a uber to trailhead to avoid the long steep walk through the burbs :)

Hovercraft Eco Adventure & Wildlife Viewing

ππ Great tour. We did this last week. Loved the Hoover Kraft and got to see eagles and seals. Since short time in port this excursion left us time to explore creek street and the salmon run. I would highly recommend!

ππ The view of the stream and walkway is one that you will share with your friends as a 'best view in Alaska'.
A great touristy spot that is a short walk from the cruise docks so be prepared for plenty of other folks when 4 ships are in town.

Rainbird Hiking Trail

ππ Gorgeous hiking trail through the evergreen rainforest. Honestly, the toughest part is reaching it on foot from the town. Waterproof hiking boots and solid gear to put against ample local rain are highly recommended. Many a person comes down with a mud-caked posterior.
