👍👍 May look small, but so much to learn. It is free, has 2 floors, live and stuffed animals, hands on buttons to push to learn, a gift shop, and so much more. There are also flyers for other places along the Mississippi River to visit. My daugther and I had a lot of fun and will be coming back.

👍👍 A great mountain like hike! Try carrying a 35 pound toddler in your arms on snow! Let’s say it’s a good workout. The views of the Mississippi River and bluffs are fabulous. You need to get a State Park pass and take a daycation.

👍👍 This is a hidden gem of the South side of La Crosse. This park is very clean and the play equipment is sturdy and put together nicely. My son loves this park!! I also want to add that there's a splash pad as well as nice clean bathrooms close by. 👍🏻

👍👍 $6 wine flights. 😀 Wine was good. Also had beer and cider, but I don't drink beer. Can't speak to the dry wines, but the "semi sweet" had several sweet ones. A little hard to find, Google was somewhat confused and routed us around the block a few times.

👍👍 If you like tons of stairs (600) and then climbing a 110 foot tower to see spectacular sights from way up high, this is your place. You can park right at the foot of the stairs, basically. They do have a few resting benches along the way. But it is a ways up so come prepared... no bathroom, no food....

👍👍 A+. Our family of four stayed here in August 2014 and we loved it! Peaceful and relaxing. The owner is kind and caring. We were on a road trip and stayed here instead of finding a hotel. Now, I would go out of my way to stay here or even plan a road trip to include staying here!

👍👍 A hidden gem! Beautiful property with maintained trails. Chris is a fantastic guy and very helpful and welcoming! A great hiking park! Be prepared with good hiking shoes as it can be a bit steep. Amazing views of the village and the Mississippi River. Definitely worth checking out!
