👍👍 Blue Ridge Ranch is amazing! We took our scouts there for the weekend and they had such a great time they all want to come back! This is not just a place to camp, it is a place of peace. Our scouts volunteered on the property, they hiked, played in the streams, caught fish, cooked on the fire, saw t...

👍👍 Wow this was a beautiful hike. I have hiked many waterfalls but this one was definitely one of my favorites. When you pull into the parking area it seems to have a pretty large parking area. This trail is also a loop trail. There are 2 different trails leading off of the parking lot. The first i...

👍👍 Had a lot of fun jumping from the falls into the water. Be careful because it is easy to slip and fall on the wet rocks. There are a few spots where the water is deep enough to swim in, but it is very cold. The hike to the falls is not bad, but coming back can be difficult if you're not in the best...

👍👍 Nice trail to wander. We walked 2.5 miles and the evening was closing on us. So decided to turn around. Next time we will come early to get to the Harper falls. It is a good trail for all ages. Moderate level. Bring water or a filter. And snacks. There are some primitive camp sites along the way.

👍👍 Trailhead parking (fits about 3 cars) is across the bridge, but the trailhead is located back on the opposite side. Short 1 mile round trip trail to the falls. A little steep towards the end. Falls were beautiful! The trail continues onward.

👍👍 A little rough for the young ones but oh what a fun day in the water. I've been coming here 45 years. The area has improved greatly and is now a very good place for families to enjoy. Highly recommend for swimming and picnicking. Have a blast! 😉

👍👍 About 1.6mi to the end of the trail. Do you need hiking shoe, not really unless the ground is wet. There are a lot of rocks so when it is wet you can slip and fall. The are muddy spot too but you can walk around it carefully. Another thing is there are about 500' of elevation change so hiking back t...

👍👍 Great hike mostly under rhododendrons, with creek crossings, a series of nice water falls, and where there are no rhododendrons you can find trillium, irises, and all kinds of forbes. On the way back, we saved ourselves two fords and followed an existing goat path, staying on the creek side. Plan mo...
