Mt. Zion Bike Trail

ππ Fantastic trails for trail running! Challenging hills with some technical sections dealing with roots. Well maintained trails with a friendly hard working community supporting the maintenance of these trails. The trails consist of a 1 mile kids loop, parameter loop, 6 mile loop, and the 10 mile race...

Kootenai Falls Suspension Bridge
Bridge
ππ This entire area is absolutely stunning. The color of the water, jagged landscape, and the vast blue skies made this one of the most memorable stops on my trip to glacier national park. Highway 2 along the Kootenai River is one of the most beautiful routes I've been on and barely had any traffic.

Cape Perpetua Overlook

ππ Weβve traveled extensively throughout the US and the Oregon coast is by far the most majestic and awe inspiring work of beauty that nature has blessed us with. ππ Lovely trail in the woods. We are pretty out of shape but were still able to make it. From the parking lot through the woods and back it's 1 mile with an elevation of 54 feet. It took us a little over 30 minutes because we stopped to take pics and sit a few times. There are benches midway which is n...

Kershaw-Ryan State Park
State park
ππ This is one of my favorite state parks to stay at!! Sites have electric and water hookups and the park area is best when the wading pool is open. Great trails for hiking and very close to the town of Caliente for picking up supplies, groceries or simply eating at any of the small town restaurants.
