👍👍 Stay on the trail to the very end. There is an overlook that’s worth seeing before you reach the end, but the best sunrise spot is all the way back. Amazing sunrise spot. We had breakfast and watched the sunrise. It’s a short hike with parking right at the trailhead.

👍👍 Great trail, especially for families. The trail isn't very difficult or very long, but there's some great views at the top. If you're looking for a quick hike with some great views for your effort, definitely check this trail out.

👍👍 We stopped on our drive to the Airport to stretch our legs and so glad we did! It was a nice walk/hike down to the falls, with the trail being very doable (gravel) but be careful at the end there are rocks and steep steps to navigate to actually get to the falls area, for those with mobility issues....

👍👍 Grandfathers Mountian due to the high winds we did not get to go. They was having 70 to 80 mph winds at the top of the mountain, the reason we wanted to go was to see the mile high bridge. If you look closely at the last two you can see it in the pictures.

😐 Nice views! May be due to greenery everywhere in rainy days, we could not able to get the scenic views from this overlook. There are many other spots at Blue ridge parkway to stop and spend lovely time in nature.

👍👍 Our son and family joined my wife and myself on the New River. We enjoyed a very nice float trip that went between 2-3 miles and lasted just over 2 hours. Water was very gentle and not deep. Our 7 and 9 year old granddaughters loved it!!
