Best places: Public beaches in Longboat Key, United States

👍👍 One of the best spots in Florida to visit the beach and bay. Do not go! :-) It's mine.

Horse-riding & kayaking are popular activities along this sandy strip of land with picnic tables.

👍👍 Great access to the beach and a quiet not crowded. Great spot to park and take a nice beach walk or just relax on the beach. The sand is nice and soft. The parking lot is small and fills up fairly quick, but in off season and in the morning it is perfect spot for quiet beach access.

👍👍 Longboat key has a very beautiful beach. It is mainly private development on the Gulf side, but there are 12 public access points that have parking or nearby parking. The beach is never crowded so if you like seclusion, you can find it here. There are no facilities of any sort here.

👍👍 My hideaway getaway. Always 10 ppl or less here. I park across the street at church. Water is so beautiful. I often catch the sunset.
