Best places: Nature preserves in Lower Merion Township, United States

👍👍 A quiet park on the river. You can walk down to the dam from a dirt access road and sometime see the local township fire department doing water rescue drills.

👍👍 A beautiful local nature museum, hiking trails & education center! We came for a short hike over the holiday weekend and enjoyed ourselves! Many different hikes to choose from flat, moderate to hard. It's definitely a nice option when we're ready for a nice hike in our neighborhood!

👍👍 Plenty of parking for this petite hidden gem. The paths are very well maintained and mostly grass/stamped down by foot traffic. Lots of nature sounds despite being in a sparse residential area.
