Crossroads at Silverbell District Park
Park
π Very busy place, with lots going on. Tennis courts, volleyball, access to the loop, a dog park, baseball fields, and more. There is even a library!
Probably the best park in Northwest Tucson. The only downside is that you have to cross the freeway if you live on the east side, which can take awhile...

Gladden Farms Community Park

ππ Loved this place for my kids to play at. They had tons of shade and fenced it all off for protection. The water keeps adults cool too. Loved it.

Continental Ranch Community Park

ππ The skate park here is so much fun! It has different challenges for individual progress. We've gone after dark each time and there are a dozen or more skateboarders, bicyclists, and scooterists every time! It's quiet, no trash thrown around, and the young people we've met were polite and respectfu...

ππ This is an out-of-the-way, nice, quite and shaded park. Very nice people go there to exercise their dog. It is small but nice. It has some great seating in the shade, and the bathroom is clean! Take Doggo there.
Update: My wife and I visited in the early PM on 9/26/22 with our dog Tedrick. This rema...

Sanctuary Cove
Religious destination
ππ Hiking trails around the sanctuary are interesting with the views and inspirational signs. The trails to the peaks apparently are off limits without a permit.

π I thought the park was great, but wouldn't you know the locals that frequent the park are a bit "Turdish" meaning there behavior is childish, clicky and want to make you feel unwelcomed. Definitely take your children they'll have blast on the zip line, yes i said zip line. Kid size but still really...

El Rio Neighborhood Park
Park
π Pretty lame playground, the play structure is a joke, and so are the swings. The basketball court is only a half court. Most the reviews for this park are actually for the El Rio Preserve, which is pretty nice.
This park has a drinking fountain and pet fountain, so it's not completely useless.
