👍 Good weekend getaway park for walks and picnic. The pier is neat compared to other places I visited. Peaceful and serene atmosphere with excellent views of Benicia-Martinez bridge and the shore.

👍👍 Get up to the Franklin Ridge Trail via the Huell Hornbeck trail. I find that one easier on the knees than the CA Riding and Hiking Trail, which is the other option. Great views, good running when you up to the ridge loop, dogs can go off leash.
