Sara Hite Rose Garden

πŸ‘πŸ‘ We had our 10/7 wedding ceremony at the beautiful Sara Hite Memorial Rose Garden. The guests loved the beautiful roses and nature setting. The gazebo was perfect for our string trio to play in and we were able to rent white chairs for seating our 75 guests. We only have a couple pictures back, so I...

πŸ‘ It's a fun park for kids. I like that it has a smaller size playground for the smaller kids. There are picnic tables. And walking around the water tower is cool! There's a basketball court. Overall it's a good park!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Love enjoying our neighborhood parks and we were super excited to check this one out now that it's finished. Fun, unique structures and a great walking path around the play area. Tons of grass and surrounded by good trees for late afternoon shade. We definitely like it!

Parking and Entrance To Elk Rock Park
Park
πŸ‘ The parking is kinda silly. I get it's a neighborhood but they have no parking signs in one side of the street but on the other side, that's at the edge of someone's lawn theres no signs so everyone parks there. Seems backwards. May as well just open both sides of the street for parking then. There'...

πŸ‘ Even though Home Avenue is being worked on, you can still use Homewood Park! There are two ways to get to the park: 1st way is from Home Avenue near Monroe St, the 2nd way is from Garcia Avenue, off Monroe St or off Washington St. There are two picnic tables, at least 3 benches, the play structure i...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I love coming to the park with my dog. Not a lot of people, and it's quiet and easy to get to. Some paths are muddy, but once you get on the main trail it's for me. There is plenty of parking. There is also a playground on the other side as well.
