👍 DO NOT start trail from far corner of the parking lot. Start by walking back to the entrance road and across the street. Trail has a very nice mix of scenery for a Lake Michigan area trail. The biggest and best payoff is at the far end when you get to Lake Michigan!

👍👍 We love this park. The paved path is nice even in wet or snowy weather. We can walk all the way to the old mill by the river. But we also love the stairs and bridge over the creek. The dirt paths are well maintained. Great place to take walk even on a hot day because of the woods.
