Picasso's Gourmet Deli
Sandwich shop
👍 Nice little deli in downtown Modesto. Ran by Italians I think as the staff spoke Italian. Anyway the sandwich I ordered was very good, especially the bread which is toasted just right. Nice staff too.

Great Valley Museum and Planetarium
Natural history museum
👍👍 We basically had the whole place to ourselves, as it was a weekday and the museum most likely is less busy due to covid. It was very nice, and there was a lot to see and read. All the taxidermy there is very good quality, and the scenes that the taxidermy are placed into are all very realistic (down...

Modesto's First Dog Park
Dog park
👍👍 Dogs love, people love it. I think people actually love it more than the dogs. Lots of room for the big dogs to roam and play. Little dogs get their own large, secure area, plus the small dog people get their own large, cement table and benches in the shade. It's well used! While the big dog area do...

👍 Great facility for kids. I took my 7 year old daughter and she had a great time. I feel that many of their stations are for younger kids as they are able to be more engaged in the exploration of activities. Definitely have a variety of stations(some better then others) but overall a fun experience....
