πŸ‘ This is the only place win Acadia where you are allowed to swim because this lakes water is not used for drinking. Water was too cold in mid June. Lake is beautiful and calm. Its in quiet side of Acadia. There’s a picnic table right in front of lake.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Nice clean beach, easy access from parking with public restrooms and rinse shower. The water is cold, but the way it gradually gets deeper it was perfect swimming for the kiddos. The sand is fine and perfect for building Sandcastles! Great family beach in Maine!
