👍 This is the only place win Acadia where you are allowed to swim because this lakes water is not used for drinking. Water was too cold in mid June.
Lake is beautiful and calm. Its in quiet side of Acadia. There’s a picnic table right in front of lake.

👍👍 Fantastic, come here and listen to the waves polish the cobbles, climb the cliffs and watch the birds. Enjoy the lack of crowds and watch the fog burn off in the mid day sun while lobstermen haul in traps.

👍👍 Nice clean beach, easy access from parking with public restrooms and rinse shower. The water is cold, but the way it gradually gets deeper it was perfect swimming for the kiddos. The sand is fine and perfect for building Sandcastles! Great family beach in Maine!
