Tox Brewing Company
Brewery
ππ Great tasting beer with friendly staff. They had a good variety of styles and I really liked the Angel Wings. I love their unique flight system (4 fills of a glass rather than a line of 4 glasses at once) and that I get to keep the tasting beaker. This makes my science nerd heart happy.

Su & Sa Sushi And Salad
Japanese restaurant
ππ This place is so good. High quality sushi with great proportions. Been to a lot of sushi places in San Diego and this is just as good as my favorite spots from there. Highly recommended and surprise more people donβt go here. Itβs new and from the same people who own Noodle and Bistro on Bank Street...

Favorites Bistro Bar
Restaurant
ππ I had a great experience here on a Friday night. I ordered the plantain delight for an appetizer; it was awesome, with a great texture and flavor. I had the seasonal cider mojito. It wasn't too sweet, I really enjoyed it. For a main course, I ordered the Jerk Chicken with rice and veggies. The jerk...

ππ They have excellent sandwiches, soups (the white chicken chili is my favorite and itβs DELISH!) and a variety of coffees to choose from. I love that they have weekly drink specials and are always adding more options.
I love that they have a gift shop vibe mixed in with a huge amount of seating. It...

Birdseye Cafe
Bar
π Seemed like a pretty standard neighborhood bar in New London. Beer prices were good, but my Yuengling draft was definitely served from the bottom of the keg and was downright disgusting. Definitely a Steelers Bar, and seemed to have a lot of people for early afternoon on a Friday

Half Keg

ππ A small bar on Broad St in New London CT. Popular with the locals
But I was taken into the fold by two
guys as we spoke about classic cars.
The beers cold and served in frosty
16 oz glasses. Lunch and dinner are
delicious at the Half Keg.

Shaking Crab
Cajun restaurant
π My sister went a few months ago and had an amazing experience. We went together and it was awful! Lobsters had almost no meat in them, the oysters had no flavor and the horseradish was old. The King crabs were a light orange/white color and the shells were soggy, so they wouldn't "snap" open. That's...

ππ They smoke their wings and then fry them! Iβm a tough critic and a chef myself. Let me be the first to tell you, the wings are the best! Nice flavored crispy crunch and smoky juicy meat. The blue duck bar & kitchen
Restaurant
π«€ My partner and I had a good first experience at The Blue Duck. We got The Garbage Fries and although a little soggy, they were delicious. The Birria Tacos were what we were really looking forward too and they were lackluster. The meat was dry and the taco itself could have used some sort of cream sa...
