ππ Great little trail along the river and through Newburgh. A nice park on the eastern end, food and ice cream along the trail, and several nice overlooks of thr Ohio River.

Chadwick Lake Park
Park
ππ Nice park to bring the family to. There are trails, a children playground and areas to sit and do a BBQ. You can also rent boats, which are $15 a day for Newburgh residents and go fishing. The park is $20 per year for Newburgh residents and $40 for non-residents. Great park for dogs as well!

Downing Park
Park
π The pond is very nice, with comfortable benches and edifices of solid masonry. Well-maintained grounds and trees, though some structures in the park have been covered in graffiti, and some of the roadways are crumbling, so better maintenance is needed.

Safe Harbors Green
Park
π Safe Harbors has the farmers market on Saturdays. It's nice to get fresh foods, including vegetables and fruit. Baked goods and fresh made food are available. Local items from Artisans were for sale. Everyone was very friendly. Newburgh needs more of this. Park safe and be aware of your surroundings...

π Rest rooms aren't open now but they have portable restrooms now but only open when there's a soccer β½ or football π game in place. There's no picnic area. Usually they have the concession stand open by the pool.
