Hawksbill Crag/Whitaker Point
Scenic spot
ππ Great hike, not terrible difficult, GORGEOUS views! But bewareβ¦ the SIX MILE drive off the main road is ROUGH. Itβs a dirt path, rocky, curvy, & bumpy. Definitely worth it, but bring a vehicle you donβt mind getting dirty.

Arkansas Grand Canyon
Scenic spot
ππ This place is just magical! I'm not a huge fan of the winding roads in a fully loaded 4 door tahoe but, I can't wait to get my bike down there! It will take your breathe away at just about every turn. Love it and highly recommend coming to experience it yourself!

JB Trading Co
Campground
ππ We recently camped at JB Trading Co and I was very impressed with the experience! The employees were extremely helpful upon check-in and the location can't be beat; we had easy access to hiking trails and the river. Bonus: they have the nicest campground restrooms/bath house I've ever used! We would...

Glory Hole Falls
Scenic spot
ππ Such a cool place to visit and enjoy nature. Not a long hike and wide trail. It was easy enough that my sister and I took our 4 kids ages 10 to 6 and they didn't have any trouble making it in and out.

Steel Creek Campground
Campground
ππ We found this hidden gem. The swimming area was hidden, so you have to walk all the way to the last camp site and walk inside the woods to get to swimming area. Itβs hidden but you will find it. The waters were so serene and the area was so quiet, the water was nice and warm as well and it was a hot...

Centerpoint Trailhead
Hiking area
ππ A fine trailhead to access center point with the intention of hiking the goat bluff trail. Parking is mostly flat if you need to boondock, though I don't know if you're really supposed to. I have had success without issue though. The trail is easy, but not for the unfit. The way back will be ent...

Jolly Mill Park
Park
ππ Jolly Mill was the perfect place for a cold fall day. My boyfriend, the kids and I ended up headed here when we made a wrong turn after changing our minds about a corn maze due to cold. We spend a good hour here walking around, taking photos and just having a wonderful time. I feel like it turned ou...

Big Bluff Goat Trail
Hiking area
ππ Take Google map directions to Centerpoint Trail (taking it to big bluff goat trail will not get you on the trail), hike about 2.5 miles through woods, then stay right at the fork.
Definitely don't recommend taking young kids (the way back is all uphill). Parking is $5 across the street if the lot i...

Alum Cove Natural Bridge Recreation Area
Park
ππ Great little trail. The trail isn't marked, but you can tell the way. It's an all climb up on the way back, but it inclined out zig zagging nicely. You do have to climb over some rocks. If you have balance issues, bring a walking stick. You can go on top of the bridge and just to the side of it, the...

Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch & Adventure Park
Off roading area
ππ Great place to ride sxs or motorcycles. They have easy trails and more difficult trails. Most of the double black are technically challenging but if you see the warning signs for expert only just make sure you know what youβre doing. We had so much fun with the variety of trails they had. FYI - no...

ππ Absolutely a gorgeous place to hang out for an afternoon or around golden hour like we did. The creek is shallow to just walk around in and enjoy the scenery. You can park and have a picnic or just hang out! So beautiful; we'd definitely come back here again!
