Houghton Garden
Park
ππ Nice place for a short, midday hike. Not much elevation and lots of benches to sit on if you get tired. Street parking and multiple entrances, might be helpful to take a pic of the garden map so you know where to go.

Centennial Dog Park
Dog park
ππ Only Dog Park in Newton. Usually quite a few dogs playing here, but rarely is it too many. Good place to just hang out with your Pooches. It is large and there are to sides for the dogs. One for the smaller guys and one for the Big.

Levingston Cove
Park
ππ For the life of me I canβt figure out how Crystal Lake got its nameβ¦
What a treasure to have in the neighborhood. Itβs just such a peaceful oasis (or itβs a happening place - depends on the temperature and time).
But it is really a wonderful resource whether you (or it) are reflecting or not.

Crystal Lake Beach
Swimming lake
π The lake itself and the beach is very nice. But the management of this place is horrible. They open at 1pm which is ridiculous. And they force all the people that came around the fence in the morning to vacate the beach. This is understandable - they want you to pay. But why in earth they couldn't l...

Cabot Park

ππ One of the best grounds for cricket. The outfield is faster than most of the grounds I have played. This ground has a good number of free parking spots. It would be absolutely fantastic if the ground authorities could keep the grass just a tiny bit smaller and if they could build a cricket pitch. Ce...
