Milagra Overlook Hiking Trail

πŸ‘ Echoes of two past wars are still present on Milagra ridge, and can be easily identified on this short hike above Pacifica. Thankfully the military emplacements don't detract from the beauty of the park, nor do they obscure the excellent panoramic coastal views which make this short hike a worthwhil...

Baquiano Trail Head

πŸ‘πŸ‘ One of the most interesting trails in Pacifica. Big climb followed by a rolling ridge to the view of the SF Bay. At the fork near the Portola site, go right and follow the road about 3/4 of a mile to the Sweeney Meadow. Crazy satisfying and worth the trip. Great to run.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ One of my favorite spots in Pacifica to watch the sunset! Street parking can be tough on warm days though. There are two concrete benches along the path to sit on and the views are practically unobstructed with just a cable wire fence!

The trails are well maintained and easy to walk. Even small children and the elderly can walk slowly. From mid-April to late April, y...

πŸ‘ Parking: I parked at the bottom of the trail while the fog was still in around 10. You can park at the Orchard and should go all the way up the paved road to find ample parking. The trail: It is a decent incline but has larger trees that you can take breaks at. I would recommend bringing allot of w...
