👍👍 Went there for the first time recently. It's rougher than sat Waimea market. Less people branding food, instead raw items straight off the land. Its good, but totally different than Hamakua coast markets

👍👍 Melissa did a great job explaining to us about the 2018 eruption in Leilani Estates. A little hike to the fissure 8 spot is nothing short of phenomenal. You get to feel the steam which makes you feel like you are in nature’s Sauna. The destruction from this eruption can be seen and experienced first...

👍👍 If you are looking for a destination picnic. Check back in a long time. If you want to see amazing lava flows over the roads about 40' plus. And look at the fortunate that missed being taken out by a few hundred yards. Then go. I would not think folks would spend much time there.

Tell his own personal experience and story along the way, he takes his time and PLEASE make sure to BOOK with HIM! He’s the only one that can take you on this tour legally unlike other guides who walk on...

👍 Took these in late January 2019. Lava is as beautiful as it is destructive. Please hit “Like” if this was helpful. Thanks.
