👍👍 My dog loved the Dog Beach. It is just a beach by the pier. There is a shower at the beach entrance. Beautiful aqua water and white sand that looks like snow. Perfect

👍👍 I rarely take solo trips so that means I am traveling with my babies and g-babies and it is a MUST that they enjoy themselves. Our accommodations were pretty nice and the children loved the pool and splash pad. I didn't think they would be that excited with the beach - I'm more of the beach person....

👍👍 This is a good location for beach access. If you park across the street at Pier Park if you need to and you can change and public access 55. The shower is at public access 55, about 20 yards further down. The beach is great. The sand is nice and powdery soft.

👍👍 This is a favorite local beach spot. You can often catch a parallel parking spot, plus there's a drainage structure to keep things that need to stay dry. But there's no lifeguard, so be careful. I took this photo today (8/29/21) when Hurricane Ida was heading towards New Orleans.

😠 No place to park. Pcb has screwed the citizens that live in this city. we get nothing it's only for those who live in the beach houses or rent those little bitty expensive places and none of the rest of us can even visit. Heck you can't even see the water any more. Waste of time any more to even try...
