We didn't know at first when we arrived that it was only for residents, thoigh it was nearly empty and later afternoon so we took our chances to have a short visit since any other beach was a ways away and we were looking for dog friendly beaches....

I'm just saying...There are only a few parking spots near the entrance, so I suggest going on a weekday or else very early on a weekend to get a spot......

👍👍 A Staple beach if you live in CT or RI... Taylor Swift has a crib near there... It's the best beach in the tri state area...It's has a bathroom on site and Porto potties . They also have bar restaurants along the beach. The waves here enormous.
