👍👍 Not a hard hike at all for a 55 yr old slightly out of shape woman. I rated as moderate because it is not simply a dirt/ gravel trail. It is a little rocky in places but nothing I couldn't handle. I did the shorter loop & can't wait to go back & try a longer one

👍👍 Hiked in this trail for the first time, November/22/20. The trail starts right in the middle of the campus. There’s no parking fee, no entrance fee, I didn’t see bathroom at the trailhead. My hike was a loop 7 miles, around 1,200 feet of the elevation gain. I was started at something very interestin...

👍👍 Beautiful trail, doable with a 5 & 7 year olds in sandals! Some narrow paths, some steep incline, scenic 360° SLO. We saw a coyote or fox (?) in the cow trails, but felt safe on the trails. Highly recommend for families.
