Pinnacle Mountain East Summit Trailhead
Hiking area
ππ Wow, what a hike! Be warned, this trail is steep and challenging. You'll be scrambling over rocks for hundreds of feet up. There's some nice spots to rest with a view. As an experienced hiker, this caught me off guard. I was on all fours for half this hike to get up and over the wall of boulders.

ππ Went to Fort Leonard Wood for my daughter's Army Basic training graduation. They held the ceremony at Gammon Field, which was easy to get to. Parking was down the street at Baker theater, on the street around the field, and in front of the bleachers. Arriving 2 hours prior is key, so plan ahead,...

π Iβve been coming here my whole life. My family and I have many great memories together here. From family reunions, swimming, grilling food, camping, riding boats and golf carts. ππ Update: returned with my wife and son. This time we brought flashlights to see how deep the cave goes. Even my 600b lumen flashlight want bright enough to see the end. It was a beautiful day and rock formations and water-carved sandstone looked amazing. Don't forget to skip a few rocks along the cre...

ππ I never realized that they do weddings at Moss Mtn Farms, but there are numerous sites that would accommodate anywhere from 50 to 500(or more). We toured when the roses, and peonies were in full beauty. I would love to visit when all 90,000 daffodils are blooming..P Allen Smith has an incredible far...

ππ We hiked 4 miles and had a great time! It was worth the hour and a half drive to get to it. Lots of different trails to take. We hiked to the swinging bridge and it was awesome. Bikes are allowed so we just moved for any bikes coming through. It's a great place and we will definitely be returning!
