👍👍 Excellent town park. Tennis, basketball, volleyball courts, soccer field, toddler and kid playgrounds, dog playground too. Has a covered seating area and a place to ride a bike as well. Take my kids there all the time and they love it

👍👍 I stumbled upon this restaurant after a long hike in the area, the food is absolutely delicious and our waitress Elena was amazing. She was happy to serve us even though they were closing soon. We will definitely be back.

👍👍 Bathroom facilities were cleaned regularly. The sites are fairly large and not on top of one another. The hike around the lake was beautiful. I can’t wait to get back out there!

👍👍 We saw a female singing group. It's a lovely old-fashioned church. I was so pleased to find a cultural institution right near our house. Very welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait until the new season.

Appalachian Trail Southbound Entrance, Clarence Fahnestock State Park

👍👍 Plenty.of room to leave a car for the day. Trail is beautifully maintained, w lots of great views as you top a hill or make a turn. Theres a cutoof a mile or so in that gets.you to a lake and a concession (in season). Camping (3 free spots) for hikers east of the trail at the campgrounds.

😠 After 6 months of traveling and visiting app. 75 parks I swear, this one is the most miserable of all. Abandoned, neglected, unkempt. The most important thing seems to be the huge signs of the highway. Don't stop.
