👍👍 I had no idea there was a working observatory nearby. Whata great find! There is an outside mini amphitheatre for use by the observatory for watching stars and planets. The backs of the amphitheatre's bench are built at a 45°angle, so you won't hurt your neck. Nice! I posted the hours.

👍👍 One of my favorite places to visit in Lake County. Great monthly program on the fourth Saturday evening of each month. The program includes a lecture on astrophysics, a planetarium protection screening, and the opportunity to view the night sky with professional telescopes.
