👍👍 A gorgeous drive up the mountains to admire the scenery. The fall leaves are bright with incredible color. Whenever you can pull off safely to a designated area, it’s worth it. We parked and wandered in a little to be closer to nature.

😐 Great view,but no legal parking at the overlook. There is a pit toilet. This area is a drop off point for starting a hike or bike on the Wasatch Crest trail or for a hike into Bonanza Flat below. It looks like a good place to park, but parking is not allowed.

👍👍 Parking for this hike is across the road and has bathrooms. Very steep for a little bit at the beginning but then is fairly flat with some incline here and there. I’m not sure how far this trail extends, I only went 2 miles and turned around. Not much shade.

👍👍 The view from here is amazing. The drive is smooth and calm. Saw some turkeys so stay extra focused when driving through this road. I definitely recommend if you're tired of the good old Ogden canyon and wish for a change of scene

I recommend avoiding the canyon during the fall LDS General Conference weekend, which is typically the first week in October. The traffic is unbelievable and frankly a little dangerous.
