White Rock Overlook
Scenic spot
ππ This was such a beautiful spot. You can see so much of the Rio Grande down below when you go down the walking path. If you to the north side of the parking lot you can view a couple of waterfalls but be careful because there is no fence or rail so watch the kids π

Ten Thousand Waves Lodging
Hotel
π I love Ten Thousand Waves, except their prices are somewhat excessive. I got a room for two nights and it cost me over $900. I understand this is top of the line, but $900 for two nights- EXCESSIVE.
I received a massage, which was outstanding, however it was $229 for 80 minutes. Add the tip and it c...

Aspen Vista Picnic Ground
Picnic ground
ππ Beautiful and easy hike on an old logging road through groves of Aspen trees. Itβs is lovely anytime of year but Sept-Oct is breathtaking. Iβve been in March as well with snow on the ground and the experience and views are just as good to me. Itβs popular so you will pass several people and dogs. Gr...

π This place is good again! I had written a rather harsh review before. I have since returned and all the issues I outlined before have been worked out. The beer is great, staff is friendly, the food is good and the patio is phenomenal.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park
RV park
ππ Santa Fe Skies RV Park is situated on top of a hill, so you get a 360-degree view of Santa Fe below. The park is all gravel with concrete patios and has a fenced in dog park. There is a trail all around the perimeter but if walking a dog be very careful of stickers. There is a gift shop, very clean...

La Cieneguilla Petroglyphs
Hiking area
π Trail gets 1-star; Petroglyphs get 4.5-stars.
Initial section of trail is flat and well-marked, but once you go through the barbed-wire fence, the trail markings disappear. The Petroglyphs are along the edge of the volcanic caprock, near the top of the mesa. βAll Trailsβ was only partially helpful;...
