Keels & Wheels
Tourist attraction
ππ Such an intersesting show. So many unique and rare cars & boats. All for a great cause. Hats off to the members of the Lakewood Yacht Club who selflessly volunteer their time to make this happen every year.

Seabrook Wildlife Refuge and Park

ππ Love this place. I've met some of the friendliest people here. Such a different vibe compared to inner city Houston. It has ten miles of trails total through-out Seabrook, and you can even hike to the ocean. We always see so many wild rabbits, deer, and occasionally a swimming noodle here π We usua...

Seabrook Salisbury Connector
Hiking area
π I was in the area and searching for a bike trail and found this one. The trail is nice and new, mostly paved, but some gravel areas at the beginning and end, and itβs broken up between a dedicated bike path and some road use. Itβs better for walking and biking in my opinion.

Bathrooms are often closed when I'm there.
There's a fish processor right there and if you're downwind BOY does it reek.
This is a challenging area with lots of current, eddies, big waves and boat traff...

Historic Dorothy Anderson Cabin
Historical landmark
π The Dorthy Anderson story is an interesting one. It illustrates to me the free spirit that you find in beach communities. The cabin is a photo opportunity, but crop it nicely because it is the middle of neighborhood of new construction. Kind of out of place.

Brummerhop Park

ππ The Fish Park as my family and I like to call it, has a little bit of everything. Splash pad, volleyball court, basketball court, walking trail, and a nice play ground. It's a great place for a playdate!
