Best places: Ice skating rinks in Shaker Heights, United States

👍👍 Wide, flat, easy trails, lots of picnic tables, and well marked trails. Lodge with bathrooms and drinking fountains. Big pond. Well shaded trail. We enjoyed walking along the creek and the many bridges.

🫤 Based on that this is a part of Gilmour Academy I would expect it to be a nice place. It’s a dump and clearly nobody cares about the rink.

All that's keeping this from being the best in Cleveland is how far off the beaten path it is, BUT if you can, their coaches, ice, and off ice is second to none in NE Ohio. 😐 I grew up on this rink. Most recent visit was for my son's hockey tournament. They had a problem with one of the chiller units in the morning, thus we got a dry ice cut to start our game. Ice was only adequate that morning. Large Olympic sized rink.

🫤 Only gave this 2 stars because it’s $1 to rent skates and 25 cents if you have your own. The ice rink is filled with a bunch of kids who are rude and don’t care at all for anyone else skating there. Some will just be zipping around causing you to almost fall or they just don’t pay attention to where...

👍👍 Love the skating rink! Great place to skate during their free skate hours. They also do classes and have hockey and figure skating groups.
